Welcome to Au Bookkeeping

We aim to provide a bespoke, flexible service tailored around you and your company requirements by supplying both computerised and manual bookkeeping services.

Our services are provided on a schedule to suit your requirements and the financial needs of your business.

Bookkeeping can be a time consuming and technically complex task, however there is often not enough work involved to justify a permanent in-house employee. Outsourcing this task can be a very cost effective way to ensure the task is completed accurately and efficiently while also introducing best practice procedures to keep year end statutory accountancy fees down.

At Au Bookkeeping, we aim to offer peace of mind that your bookkeeping is always up to date and is ready to be reviewed if necessary at any time.

Excel Bookkeeping is a simple straight forward way of keeping track of your bank account, sales and purchases. We will be able to build VAT returns and monthly reports from your receipts and invoices that your accountant will have no trouble reading and working from. Excel bookkeeping is suited to a small company that would like their paperwork kept track of.

Xero is a cloud based accounting and bookkeeping software, it allows your company to raise sales invoices and record purchases meaning there is no need to keep paper copies. We are also able to run reports at any time in the period allowing you to keep a precise eye on your business workings. Xero is an excellent accounting software for small to large companies.

We are able to keep a clear and running record of your sales and purchases with a little help from you. By sending us your sales and purchases at any given time we can record and keep you updated on the income and expenditure of your company in an easy to follow way that will help you and your accountant.

We are able to work though your paper work or Xero account and prepare a VAT return that we can submit for you. Alternatively, we can give you back working papers to pass on to your accountant for submission allowing them to keep the work to hand for year-end preparations.

We are happy to analyse your income and expenditure into a straight forward excel report that will allow you to gain the correct figures to pass to your accountant for submission to HMRC

What customers are saying about AU Bookkeeping

Emma has a refreshingly pragmatic approach to bookkeeping which brings clarity to the process of financial control. She takes time to understand and appreciate the needs of the Customer in ensuring that expectations are met. Emma also works hard to provide an appropriate level of understanding in all that she delivers and elucidate on any matter prior to proceeding further which is vital to a business. Emma's knowledge in respect of Xero is second to none which is evident in her much needed training on the software.

I would not hesitate to recommend her bookkeeping services as she would be a valued support to any business.
